to tell you that I'm going on a short trip to Turkey.
The departure flight number is TK67 and it leaves Singapore at 23h35 tomorrow.
I will spend about 8 or is it 9 days in Turkey. According to the tour itinerary, I will visit:
the Hippodrome Square, the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia Museum, the Topkapi Palace and the Grand Covered Bazaar on 28 January,
Çanakkale, the Dardanelles, "Legendary Troy" on 29 January,
the Aegean region of Kusadasi, plus the Virgin Mary's cottage, where Mary spent her days after Christ's death, on 30 January,
Pamukkale, Ephesus (ah Ephesus) and the Temple of Artemis on 31 January,
Hierapolis, Konya, the Mevlana Museum, the Caravanserai (do caravans still stop there) on 1 February,
the Goreme Valley, an Underground City, a real Turkish carpet factory on 2 February,
Tuz Golu (a salt lake), Ankara (the capital of Turkey), the Bolu Mountains on 3 February, and
Istanbul on 4 February...before a late-night flight.
The return flight number is TK66 and it arrives in Singapore sometime on 5 February.
Perhaps I'm just listing the thing here for my brain to get around the 10 days/7 nights thing... and perhaps I will blog here again while I'm there, or when I get back. Who knows?
